The
Shelby
County
Public
Health
Nursing
Department
at
Myrtue
Medical
Center
is able
to offer
immunizations
to
infants
and
children
through
age 18
that
qualify
under
the
Vaccine
for
Children
(VFC)
program
guidelines.
These
free
vaccines
are
offered
to
children
with
Medicaid
coverage,
children
without
any
health
insurance
coverage,
children
of
American
Indian
or
Alaskan
Native
decent,
or
children
with
health
insurance
that
does not
cover
any of
the cost
of
routine
immunizations.
