Annual Meeting of Members

The annual meeting of the members of Farmers Mutual Cooperative Telephone Company will be held at the Veteran’s Auditorium in Harlan, Iowa, on Tuesday, the 31st day of March, 2026. The doors open at 10:30am. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:00am.

The meeting of the members will begin at 12:00 noon for the purpose of taking action upon the following matters:

  1. The election of three (3) Directors of the Cooperative for a term of three years each. Below are candidates from the nominating committee that met on December 2, 2025:
    Harlan Town Exchange/Joel Berndt/1612 20th St/Harlan
    Westphalia/Panama Exchange/Lynn Schmitz/7 40 Street F32/Harlan
    Hancock Exchange/Darrell Jacobsen/24953 450th St/Hancock

  2. The report of officers, directors and committees.

  3. Any other business that may come before the meeting, or any adjournment or adjournments thereof.

Once again, a free meal will be served and door prizes will be given.

Time will be left for questions concerning new services or Cooperative activities and objectives. We again will try to make this an informative meeting focusing on telecommunications information about your Fiber Broadband Company. You are urged to attend the meeting, hear the reports of the officers, vote for agenda items, and transact such other business as may come before the meeting.
